The Alliance of the Brave is a computer game in which seventh-grader Tomáš Malásek, aka Skrček, battles ruthless creatures and explores dark landscapes. In the virtual world, he is often more confident than in the real one, especially when two class bullies stick to him at school and won't leave him alone. Tomáš's life turns upside down the moment the real and gaming worlds connect. Suddenly, he faces the toughest challenge of his life. Can he succeed? Will he find the mysterious Creator? And what else will he discover about himself and the world he lives in? The book Alliance of the Brave tells the story in two ways. Episodes from Tomáš's real world are presented in the text by Ester Stará, while comics by Jiří Franta draw readers into the cyber world. For boys and girls aged 10 and up.
