Four women, four sisters. Each of them is different, but they all long for love and a happy family. An emotional novel about family relationships, a past that can influence our future, and also about the transformation that we all go through at certain moments in life. Kateřina and Markéta suddenly lost their mother, and each experiences the grief of her loss in her own way. Katka mourns, while Markéta withdraws into herself. Almost simultaneously, however, they learn that they have two half-sisters – Hanka and Petra. All four women lead their own lives, raise children, deal with partners, weddings, and breakups, and none of them is sure what they can offer each other. When they were little, their shared father divided his attention between parallel families, so in the end, he was completely absent for everyone. Are they now willing to share their sisters as well? After their first shy meeting, they realize that they need each other, that they understand each other, and that they are very similar. Like sisters.
