An aircraft engine and dying? A young man cared for his dying father at home as best as he could. He took care of things in his own way, and everyone who helped him knew that the water in the sink couldn't be turned on because the aircraft engine also needs care... Doctor Irena and painter Martina tell the stories of people they encountered in their work, who invited them with great trust into the intimate moments of their lives, into their colorful homes. Even though they knew that the healthcare workers might see, for example, an aircraft engine in the sink (or perhaps two cats under the blanket and two on top of it). The stories open doors to places we don't usually go, and they try to show that dying is a difficult part of life, from which tenderness, beauty, or humor do not disappear.
