The book you are currently holding is my debut as a writer. It aims not only to awaken children's curiosity and imagination but also to return to Czech roots and highlight the significance of beautiful Czech proverbs. It seems that this national treasure, passed down from generation to generation, is slowly fading away. If we allow Czech proverbs to 'fall,' we will lose not only the picturesque playfulness of our mother tongue but also the wisdom of our ancestors. Let's cherish our children by passing on this heritage in an entertaining way. The basic moral and human values that proverbs bring should never go out of style, and even more so, they should not fall into oblivion.
