After a five-year break, Radek Lehkoživ releases a collection of poems, an unmistakable (206 cm) personality in poetry and contemporary underground. The author's poems, like those in his previous books, remarkably correspond with his name (which is not a pseudonym). Light-footed and witty verses, however, almost always lead to deeper depths, to the very essence of human existence; after all, Lehkoživ is originally trained as a theologian. The poet's new work carries the motto "Volentem fata ducunt, nolentem trahunt!" (Fate leads those who want it and drags those who do not.) The book, which is not only colorful but also extensive, is accompanied by beautiful color images by Ivan Baborák.
