Ivan Burkert is already known to the Czech cycling travel community from his earlier expeditions on a high wheel (Santiago de Compostela, Rome via Istanbul), which he always begins as a patriot in the city where he lives – in Hradec Králové. This time, he set off on an archaic mode of transport without gears and suspension, traveling far to the northernmost tip of Europe, Norway's Nordkapp. The 4,089 km long and adventurous journey north led through the beautiful landscape of Norwegian mountains, fjords, and fairy-tale islands (Lofoten).
