As suggested by the title of the book "Blue Blood in the Anti-Nazi Resistance – Several Stories from Occupied Homeland and Front Lines" by the trio of authors Zdeněk Hazdra, Jiří Plachý, and Jiří Rajlich, it is dedicated to personalities in whom the metaphorical blue blood flowed. Although the relationships between the nobility and the First Republic of Czechoslovakia were often problematic, a significant portion of representatives of noble families expressed their solidarity with the country and the nation during these times. Even though they predominantly maintained a distant or reserved attitude towards the republican arrangement (only a few truly embraced the republic as their own), they remained loyal to their country. They were united by a desire to live in freedom, resistance to the politics of Nazi Germany, and a strong bond to the Czech lands. These representatives of noble families did not remain indifferent to the expansionism of the German Nazis and managed to stand up to them within the framework of domestic resistance (Zdenko Radslav Kinský, František Kinský, Karel VI.
