The book "The Land of Returns and Stays" follows the edition of already published works – "The Land of Eternal Returns", "The Land of Returns and Meetings", "The Land of Returns and Inspirations", "The Land of Returns and Memories". It contains profiles of personalities from the cultural life of the Czech-Moravian Highlands. Personalities who were either born here, worked and created, or frequently returned to Nové Město and Žďár. The author aims to remind the wider public of lesser-known artists and cultural workers, bringing not only their work closer but also their life stories.
