Today, the classic fairy tale book by Jan Drda tells an entertaining, captivating, and loving story of the water sprite Toníček and his love for the beautiful 'land-dwelling' Andulka, whose father, however, does not approve of their love, and so he sends his daughter to serve in Prague. Andulka doesn't even have time to say goodbye to Toníček, leaving the poor boy, the water sprite, clueless about where his girl has gone. However, this cannot stop him from embarking on an adventurous journey along Czech rivers, ponds, and fountains to find his Andulka with the help of all the Czech water sprites. He eventually succeeds, and so their 'wet-dry' love reaches a happy ending. The book is accompanied by entirely new illustrations by renowned artist Eva Sýkorová-Pekárková.
