The adventures of Miloš Zapletal appear for the first time as comic strips drawn by Karel Zeman in this volume combining Friendship Island and The Nuts. Join Jonáš on further adventures, on a summer island and in the winter mountains. The familiar adventures of Pajda, now known by his new troop nickname Jonáš, a member of the Vodní Sedmička water-scout troop from Pardubice, are presented here for the first time as two comics from Karel Zeman’s artistic workshop, with Zeman also writing both scripts. Friendship Island loosely follows Pajda’s first story, Sedmička, while The Nuts completes the troop’s adventures originally written by Miloš Zapletal. The volume includes both comics, an introduction, excerpts from the original novel editions and period photographs, and serves as a tribute to the unforgettable Miloš Zapletal.
