Portugalsko-český a česko-portugalský slovník (2013)

The completely new dictionary is intended for all those interested in Portuguese, including both beginner and advanced students. It includes the most current vocabulary as you will see in Portuguese or Brazilian daily newspapers or hear in everyday communication, including vulgarisms. It also features expressions from African Portuguese (especially Mozambican and Angolan). Sports and culinary enthusiasts will also find something for themselves. The dictionary fully reflects the new rules of Portuguese that came into effect on January 1, 2010. The orthographic system has undergone significant changes due to the Agreement on Common Spelling, which leads to a gradual unification of global Portuguese. Our publication is in accordance with this agreement and provides all spelling variants of the words when necessary. Examples taken from everyday language are also included. The practicality of this publication is further enhanced by the European pronunciation indicated in parentheses after the entry.
