On the contrary – in a light-hearted manner, this remarkable personality of Czech dramatic creation is reminisced about during several meetings with the author by the person most qualified to do so, her son, actor and director Ondřej Kepka. And it is clear that they did not only talk about acting. In addition to memories of Mrs. Gabriela's acting mastery, readers will find in the book, for example, reflections on childhood in a family marked by popularity and past political persecution. The book is supplemented with a number of archival photographs from the family archive, some of which are published for the very first time, as well as authentic excerpts of Gabriela Vránová's poetry and essays.
