The workbook complements the Living Alphabet and the Primer with Tomcat Sam. However, it can also serve as a standalone tool for introducing letters in the 1st grade. It contains 29 letters of the Czech alphabet, excluding the letters Q, W, and X, which students are introduced to only in the 2nd grade. The order of the letters is the same as they are gradually learned in the Living Alphabet and the Primer. Additionally, it includes motivational poems with illustrations and a cut-out figure of Tomcat Sam. The publication can be used as a workbook, or individual sheets can be cut out and used as loose cards. (It is recommended that an adult cuts out the cards.) NOVA1198
