The author traveled in her childhood and youth with her mother, Eva Samková, primarily to the East, especially to see the monuments of the Soviet Union, as it was a feasible option. Now, she has been traveling with her daughter Daria across Western Europe for nine years since Daria was seven. Experiences from visits to the most precious European monuments are intertwined with many stories and reflections, giving the travelogue a very interesting dimension.
