Who were the planners and creators of significant events? The Club of Rome is a global think tank that was founded in April 1968 and gained worldwide attention in 1972 with its first report, Limits to Growth. The Club of Rome describes itself as an 'organization of individuals who share a common concern for the future of humanity and strive for change. Our mission is to promote understanding of the global challenges facing humanity and propose solutions through scientific analysis, communication, and advocacy.' Its members are well-known and respected figures in disciplines relevant to the club's mission, such as social development, economics, and the environment. Among the members are prominent scientists, top entrepreneurs, former politicians, and former heads of state, whose common interest is the future of humanity, and they discuss major global issues and challenges.
