Despite the fact that Dutch is an entirely exotic language for us, a relatively large number of people are learning it. Therefore, we are presenting a new, current, and completely original overview of Dutch grammar. The aim of this guide is to provide the user with the clearest possible overview of contemporary Dutch grammar without excessive linguistic theory and unnecessary technical terms. The book contains all common grammatical phenomena in a clear graphical layout. Individual phenomena are presented based on simple and clearly formulated rules and guidelines. They are supplemented with clear tables that allow for easy and quick orientation, and above all, a large number of examples, including their translations into Czech. In working on this publication, we drew from modern guides and grammars. We also leveraged our extensive experience in language teaching. Therefore, both the explanations and selected examples are supplemented with a number of practical notes and clarifications designed to help the student understand grammatical phenomena and, in particular, their correct usage.
