The script represents the minimum for anyone interested in studying any legal discipline. It clearly addresses the concept of the state, its characteristics, and functions in the introduction. It further discusses the European Union, sources of law, legal norms, and the legal system. In subsequent chapters, it systematically analyzes objective law and subjective law. The concluding part is dedicated to the process of applying and implementing the law. For clarity, the script also includes excerpts from the Collection of Laws of the Czech Republic, the Collection of International Treaties, the Official Journal of the European Union, and an excerpt from a ruling of the Constitutional Court.
