The coal treasury of the young republic and the industrial heart, where things are built almost overnight. Legionnaire Vácha, upon returning from the Russian campaign, pours hectoliters of alcohol down his throat to chase away old demons. And if the drinking isn't enough, he prefers not to put down his loaded gun. The daughter of constable Sikora is bored as an accountant and in her free time races powerful machines and digs through her father's private secret archive. And Pastor Bronský would certainly not please his superiors if they saw his home library full of occult volumes. When these three meet, a trio of "paranormal investigators" as colorful as Ostrava itself is formed. Just give them their first case; bullets will whiz around them, and dark curses will sound...
