Ten years in practice – evaluation and outlook The book is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the legal binding nature of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Its authors, teachers and doctoral students at the Faculty of Law of Charles University, evaluate its impact at the EU level as well as in the national contexts of individual member states. Attention is given to selected issues not only of application practice but also of the consideration of the Charter within both EU and national legislation. The Charter is examined, among other things, in the context of cyberspace and gender issues, which present new challenges in the field of protection of fundamental rights.
