Clinical nutrition is an integrating element of various fields, which is why we approached experts from cardiology, dentistry, transplant medicine, intensive care, and internal medicine to write their perspectives on the issue of nutrition in their field. In the following chapters, we focused on the methodology of establishing venous access for parenteral nutrition, including long-term access and the establishment of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy as a long-term access for enteral nutrition, including long-term home care. The chapter addressing healthcare economics defends the proper indication and execution of nutritional support as economically advantageous and proposes a methodology for calculating health economy within the argumentation to hospital management and the state establishment.
