Beschreibung
Recently, so many books on parenting have been published that parents who read them can easily feel that raising a healthy child is almost impossible. There is so much to know, and so many things can go wrong. Therefore, I would like to emphasize that the purpose of this book is not to further complicate the already challenging situation for parents, but to illuminate which events during the prenatal period of a child's development and birth can affect them. Moreover, my main intention is to help parents provide their children with the best possible conditions for a healthy life. I hope to clarify at least a little how we become who we are, and how early experiences shape our personality, interests, and beliefs – as well as our urges, obsessions, and symptoms. As our research continues, it becomes increasingly clear what mistakes we make with children. However, it would be another mistake to dwell on the past and feelings of guilt. We must utilize the latest knowledge and look to the future with the determination not to repeat these mistakes.
