Beschreibung
It is said that no one is a prophet in their own land. Whenever I hear this proverb, I think of Milan Knížák. The artist and art theorist, known and appreciated worldwide, is perceived at home more as a recesist and provocateur. His artistic work evokes envy and aversion from less capable and creative colleagues. In protest against this state and also because I consider Milan Knížák to be one of the greatest personalities in the world, I initiated the creation of this book, including the attached media, and proposed its title. I assume that this comprehensive collection of excerpts from his multifaceted work (the work is so extensive that each presented collection always remains just a fragment) will demonstrate to both the professional and lay public its greatness, complexity, and diversity. I believe that anyone who becomes acquainted with it will realistically assess its value and significance. PhDr. Václav Budinský, project author
