The Useful Physics Tables represent a summary of the most commonly used data at the level of primary schools and lower grades of multi-year gymnasiums, not only in the subject of physics. They also include Mendeleev's periodic table of chemical elements, which is indispensable in chemistry education. An overview of the planets of the solar system (with data updated in 2005) will also be useful in geography or natural science. Special attention is deserved by the table of densities of various substances, which is not divided (as is common in publications of this nature) into several different tables, often placed differently depending on whether it is a chemical element, a chemical compound, or a material. For students in the 6th and 7th grades, it is indeed difficult to distinguish between what is a chemical element and what is a compound, as they usually only start studying chemistry in the 8th grade. For practical reasons, all substances are arranged in alphabetical order, and the distinction of elements is made with a different color. In the tables, students will find values of important constants, thermal and temperature properties of the most common substances, i.e., melting and boiling points, specific heat capacities, and specific latent heats of fusion and vaporization, along with other practical data.
