The titles published in this edition can be characterized as educational literature written in an accessible and understandable manner. This publication was written by authors working at the State Veterinary Institute in Prague, with a preface by RNDr. Petr Kodym, head of the National Reference Laboratory for Toxoplasmosis at the State Health Institute in Prague. The aim of the publication is to inform clearly about diseases transmissible between animals and humans. The authors chose three different approaches to familiarize readers with them and how to work with the book.
