Němčina v hospodářství (4. vydání) – Höppnerová Věra (2010)

This textbook is intended for anyone who wants to master the basics of German economic language, including students of economic fields and professionals in the national economy. It primarily develops the skills of reading economic texts and communicating about specialized issues, as well as listening comprehension and written expression. After studying it, students will be linguistically equipped to pursue studies at universities focused on economics in German-speaking countries. This achieves the language level of the Wirtschaftsdeutsch als Fremdsprache certificate (B1 to C1). The book contains introductory and supplementary texts, exercises related to them, six review texts, a glossary after each lesson, a final German-Czech glossary, an answer key for translation exercises and tests, and practice translation sentences for the comprehensive (bachelor's) exam. The source texts reflect topics in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and international economics. Their selection was determined in collaboration with expert economists. They aim to provide students, who do not yet have specialized knowledge of economics, with basic factual information and the contents of important economic concepts.
