This unique collection brings together 219 legends originating in the region beneath Říp, in the old town of Litoměřice, and around the castles, fortresses and hills of the Bohemian Central Uplands. Some are well known, while others have almost been forgotten. History speaks to you everywhere you look, and almost every village, town or hill is connected with a secret or legend. Local patriot Vitalij Marek collected and compiled them all, while the illustrations opening each chapter are by the talented young artist Anna Žaludová.
