Jana Maternová (1973) runs along the beloved Metuje River while pondering over books. At home, she, along with her husband, takes care of three daughters and, as a foster parent, raises a small, beautiful Romani girl. She works independently as a lecturer and translator of the German language. She published her first book titled 'One Life, One Chance?' also as an e-book. She is currently preparing a collection of short stories for both athletes and non-athletes.
