This collection presents 14 new fairy tales by a popular author of original stories, filled with distinctive poetry and unconventional ideas. Arnošt Goldflam recalls how his father kept all kinds of things at home, from valuable objects to complete junk. After finding a box in the cellar labelled “Old Unnecessary Rags” and discovering only scraps of fabric, holey handkerchiefs and socks inside, he later realised that this could become a fairy tale. More unnecessary things and people, both good and bad, began appearing in his imagination, and he wrote these stories for children and adults alike. The contents are in Czech.
