Beschreibung
Henry V concludes Shakespeare's second historical tetralogy dedicated to English monarchs. It tells the story of a young English king who decides to fight for his right to the French throne, miraculously defeats the French at the Battle of Agincourt (1415), and wins the French princess Catherine. The play, with its patriotic tone, also carries a strong anti-war appeal and ubiquitous humor.
