Foundations of Social Sciences - the book follows up on the very successful first part and, through more than 1000 test questions from entrance exams, demonstrates the necessary depth of preparation for the aforementioned universities. It also includes a complete entrance test in which potential applicants can verify their abilities. The book is primarily intended for high school students in their preparation for universities focused on social sciences (i.e., primarily for the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University in Prague, and the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Hradec Králové), but also for faculties of philosophy and education. The publication takes into account all areas of entrance tests, particularly with regard to the structure of SCIO tests. This includes the fields of philosophy and political philosophy, political science and state studies, modern history, psychology, sociology, law, and economics. At the end of the publication, a sample entrance test is provided, which covers the above-mentioned areas.
