This Czech-language mathematics practice workbook for the third year of primary school includes an appendix with four single-sided, full-colour sheets of heavy paper. These can be cut out to make a place-value abacus, often recommended in the textbook for illustrating examples, as well as paper money models for practising the material through role-play in a shop. The appendix also contains a sheet of transparent red film for self-assessment during selected textbook tasks: when the film covers the page, the colour-printed answers are no longer visible.
