Beschreibung
The first part of the publication briefly addresses the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), primarily phytotherapy. It covers both the philosophical foundations, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as the characteristics of the plants used, recipe creation, and the preparation of medicinal plants. The main focus is on one hundred and twenty-five medicinal plants from this region. The author provides a botanical description and distribution of each species, its active substances, and therapeutic use, including the recommended daily dosage of the herb. A separate section covers the principles of TCM, including the evaluation of plants based on their nature, taste, and connection to individual organs, as well as properties, indications, possible contraindications, and incompatibilities. The book is richly illustrated and supplemented with a color photo appendix.
