Od Blaníku k Sázavě - Tajemnou českou krajinou – Toufar Pavel (2004)

In the latest volume of the free continuation from the series of unconventional guides "Mysterious Czech Landscape," we will accompany the well-known writer Pavel Toufar to the surroundings of Vlašim and almost to the beloved river Sázava. The gold-bearing hill Roudný inspires tales about the history of gold and its extraction, but it also invites us to wander through the now forested landscape, where we find traces of ancient technical activity. We will set off in search of treasure at the castle in Vlašim, take a glimpse into the remarkable life stories of our ancestors, and visit often-overlooked places that are definitely worth seeing for their charm. We will stop in villages and at homesteads, listen to ancient legends, and finally delve into the colorful life story of one of the most famous con artists from the First Republic period.
