This Czech-language selection examines the history and contents of the twenty most interesting grimoires, from ancient times to the present, introducing the essential works of grimoire literature, which remain practically unknown to the wider public in the Czech Republic, and helping readers find their way around this neglected area of writing. A large part of the excerpts from magical texts appears in Czech for the first time. The book is richly illustrated with images from historical sources.
