Beschreibung
The last remnants of dragons live in a reservation and are still pursued by the hatred of people stemming from ancient atavisms. The guardians of the reservation have pulled the teeth from the dragons and removed their fire-producing glands, considering them to be dull animals. Dragons are sold to wealthy buyers as game. Only the blue dragoness, raised by a human, is healthy and possesses intelligence equal to that of a human. In self-defense, she kills a reservation guard and flees, pursued by everyone in a grand hunt. Only a few people recognize the truth and stand by the dragoness's side.
