The third volume of the 'Paths Beyond Horizons' series and the second part of the trilogy 'Journey to the End of the World and Back' presents a literary-political travelogue discussing contemporary real Russia. This time about the author's travels in Western Siberia. This volume contains both the realities and facts about the local nature and the daily lives of the indigenous people, as well as the author's personal experiences and impressions, along with informed commentary and references to historical, cultural, and political contexts. It is also richly illustrated. In addition to 160 pages of black-and-white image supplements, it includes 128 pages of color (650 unique color photographs, infographics, and orientation maps).
