No one got on or off the train, yet someone was murdered. Daniel Hayward, star of the film Seber odvahu, is shot inside a carriage while filming on a heritage railway in Wharfedale. Chief Inspector Oldroyd is called in to investigate and brings his girlfriend Debora, hoping they can enjoy the English countryside together in their spare time. Oldroyd soon delves into Hayward’s past and uncovers a growing list of disappointed lovers and unpaid debts. Before he can catch the killer, however, he must first discover how this seemingly perfect crime, worthy of an Agatha Christie mystery, was carried out. Whoever the culprit is, they are determined to bury the truth deeply, and Oldroyd soon receives a chilling warning. It becomes clear to the chief inspector that his beloved Debora is in danger.
