The cat Milostpán roams his beloved neighbourhood in search of adventure and the most delicious treats, meeting a colourful array of local residents who open not only their doors but also their hearts. They include a former acrobat who rides through the streets on a senior tricycle while watching reality shows, and an eccentric woman who wears a guinea pig on her head and sees Milostpán as her dead cat Mourek. At home, he is equally indispensable: when his housemates Šéfka and Mlékoknír suffer a great loss, their cat provides the comfort they need. Milostpán shares his observations with ease and humour while revealing the deeper meaning behind his seemingly ordinary encounters.
