Naomi lives in Oklahoma, and Luca is from California. They do not know each other. They are randomly brought together by a school project, where Naomi draws Luca's name and address from a hat. Thus, they become pen pals from the fifth grade. Well, actually more like arch-rivals, engaged in a battle full of insults and verbal exchanges... But what started as a funny chain of hate-filled letters slowly develops into a long-distance friendship. Until the day when the letters suddenly stop coming. Luca hasn't contacted Naomi for several years. Two years have passed since the letter that changed everything. But then, out of the blue, a letter without a return address appears on her desk at the local television station, and Naomi is determined not to let Luca have the last word. She must track him down!
