In the impoverished district of the floating city lives Rudo, a young man who makes extra money by scavenging through dumps at night, searching for things to sell. However, one day the authorities falsely accuse Rudo of murder and treat him like all the waste: they throw him into the Pit, a giant landfill where everything inconvenient ends up. But the Pit is not just filled with monsters, heaps of trash, and a few survivors. There are also hunters – people gifted with special abilities, willing to tell Rudo what he wants to know if he helps them eliminate the beasts. And Rudo will do anything to return home, uncover the truth... and take revenge.
