Saria – Dufaux Jean (2025)

From her dying father, the prince of the Asanti family, Saria receives three keys for safekeeping. One opens the way to Paradise, the second to Hell, and the third to Nothingness. However, the Doge of the Venetian Republic desires the keys and the absolute power they could provide, and he and his ruthless servants, the fasci, will stop at nothing to seize them. Saria flees, hides, and later returns to the scene as La Luna, the protector of the Venetian people. But to fulfill her destiny, she will have to go through Hell, both figuratively and literally...

Jean Dufaux wrote an epic that lies somewhere between a post-apocalyptic tale and historical fantasy for two giants of Italian comic illustration: the first album was drawn by Paolo Serpieri, followed by Riccardo Federici.
Together, this trio not only tackled the storytelling of a merciless fate, supernatural forces, and human malice but also created a lavish, darkly baroque environment of alternative Venice, where human, religious, and political struggles rage.
