A creature, a young woman born under the curse of the Black Sun, is out for his life, and the witcher is to kill her. The girl then tells Geralt a completely different story, in which the true monster is the sorcerer himself. He has committed unspeakable acts based on his superstitious beliefs. Given that the face of evil constantly changes, Geralt – whether by choice or by compulsion – must make a decision that can only lead to tragedy.
