The rabbit ronin Miyamoto Usagi and his new companion Yukichi set out on their journey together, firmly hoping that all their troubles are behind them. However, fate continues to throw new obstacles in their path! In the story 'Ransom,' they encounter street artist Kitsune and her young ward Kiyoko. When a local gangster boss's book containing important information goes missing, it doesn't take Usagi long to figure out who might be behind it. In the story 'Crossroads,' our rabbit samurais come across a group of pilgrims who have fallen victim to an ambush. Usagi and Yukichi temporarily part ways to punish the evil – but they encounter greater and stranger complications than they expected...
