Police officer Petr and his partner are transporting a detainee, but their journey ends in tragedy. They find themselves in the midst of a nighttime traffic accident filled with the injured and the dead. Rescue does not come, and so Petr decides to take the survivors to the nearby village of Nový Kmín, unaware that they will find no help there either. Natali, who is also part of the group of survivors and is seriously injured, is teetering on the brink of life and death. On the way to the village, the group notices strange phenomena – the sun does not rise, and they are evidently being watched by something or someone. Who are the silhouettes observing the group, and do they pose any danger? And why is the village abandoned? What role does the little girl Dominika, who has appeared in the deserted village and is afraid of the 'bad people,' play in the story? And what does Natali's state between life and death truly mean?
