The two-volume edition of letters between Jakub Deml and Jaroslav Durych from 1906 to 1959 captures the dialogue of two authors filled with collaboration, inspiration, and disputes. The first book contains all available correspondence. The second book opens with a collection of Durych's journalism dedicated to Deml, ranging from occasional articles to polemical reactions and attacks on My Testimony about Otokar Březina (1931), culminating in Durych's tribute to Deml on his seventieth birthday (1948). The volume also includes a literary-historical study by Šárka Kořínková and Vladimíra Staňková, extensive annotations, an annotated index of names, an editorial note, a list of correspondence, a selective bibliography, and visual accompaniment.
