A unique large-format publication is being released to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the founding of the National Grand Lodge of Czechoslovakia in 1923. It offers personal insights from Czech and Slovak Freemasons on a tradition that has quietly but profoundly shaped the spiritual, cultural, and civic life in our country for a century.
Readers will learn about the history of the Masonic order in our country, its key figures, and the lodges that currently operate under the Grand Lodge of the Czech Republic, all with a clear goal – to build a better person and through them, a better world.
The individual chapters of the book will present thematic areas such as an Introduction to Freemasonry and its history, particularly in the Czech lands; Detailed information about all 29 active Masonic lodges in the Czech Republic; Brief profiles of the Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge of the Czech Republic and other notable Freemasons; and a variety of other information related to the phenomenon of Freemasonry in our country.
