A PACK OF EXPERIENCED DOG GUARDIANS KNOWN AS MAGIC DOGS sets out on a quest to cleanse the Pennsylvania area of seemingly unrelated supernatural phenomena, including a fire salamander and a flock of mutated stalkers. However, it gradually becomes clear that all the mysterious occurrences lead the heroes inexorably to a mountain settlement inhabited by a group of people who worship the enigmatic 'Blood Sorcerer,' whose presence attracts occult forces and threatens to flood Burden Hill with a new avalanche of evil! The unconventional dog heroes in this volume were created by Evan Dorkin (Milk & Cheese) and Ben Dewey (The Autumnlands).
