The new worldview has far-reaching consequences. A particularly significant aspect is the rapprochement between the natural sciences and religion in such a way that natural sciences lose their unequivocal legal determination and thus their ability for precise predictions, thereby coming closer to religion as such. From this perspective, we currently find ourselves in a schizophrenic situation, as we believe that we can successfully tackle the challenges of the 21st century with the help of an old way of thinking from the 19th century and technologies developed based on the new thinking of the 20th century. ***** This book aims to highlight the close connections between new physical knowledge and traditional religious wisdom. It will attempt to clarify that if we realize that we are fundamentally more alike than we seem at first glance, the large apparent friction surfaces between the natural sciences and religion, as well as between different cultures and denominations, can be smoothed out. The seemingly intolerant attitudes arise more as a result of different interpretations of immaterial realities, oriented according to various similarities and metaphors.
