AERO 88 "Patnáctka" Letoun MiG-15 v čs. vojenském letectvu 3. díl – Irra Miroslav (2022)

The next issue of the Aero series presents the final chapter of the history of the deployment of the classic fifteen in the Czechoslovak Air Force. Here, the reader will become acquainted with the acrobatic groups of the Czechoslovak Air Force on S-102/MiG-15 aircraft, the principles for the execution and placement of national insignia, and the marking of unit affiliation of aircraft from 1951 to 1957. A summary of aviation accidents by individual modifications – MiG-15, MiG-15SB, and MiG-15T – is also provided. The appendices include outlines of flight training for retraining in PVSL and at the 7th lšp, lists of S-102/MiG-15 pilots who underwent training in PVSL, at the 7th and 2nd lšp, and personnel of the 22nd sld retrained in 1954. Additionally, lists of MiG-15 and MiG-15SB pilots from fighter-bomber regiments in 1962, an inventory of S-102 aircraft at the 15th Fighter Air Corps in March 1954, identified unit affiliation markings of specific aircraft by serial numbers, and finally, a list of aircraft preserved for various purposes after being decommissioned are presented.
