Beschreibung
Thomas Nagel's Mind and Cosmos is a survey of philosophical questions concerning the fundamental physical and biological research of the human mind. Nagel argues that the natural and social sciences are unable to explain the existence of the mind and consciousness within the paradigm they currently operate in, and therefore, it is necessary to revise the methodologies used. He writes that the mind is a fundamental aspect of nature and that any philosophy of nature that cannot explain it is fundamentally flawed.
